Wake Up Friendz...!!!!!

WAKE UP.... FriendZ.....!!!!

Being a “pune”ite ...It feels sad to talk about Terrorism that struck the Lovely city of Pune which is very well known as the city for a perfect Vacation Hangout...lovely climate, educational hub, kool clubs, always enthusiastic crowd and last but not the least the Techie city and also called as the “Oxford Of the East”...It definitely is not the time to just mourn for the people whom we have lost.... but to get up together as one and fight back in full force. ..!!! I don’t feel like narrating the entire Statistics or the Incidence again... What i feel is ..”Wake Up...Friendz..”!!!

Those who are reading this blog... I would like to ask you all a question .. .that--- As youngsters of our cities... What responsibility are we taking -- against this ruthless act ... R we not equally responsible for being so ‘ignorant’ about the conditions prevailing before the incident took place ??? The death toll has risen to 15 since 13/02... which is a clear indication that we must get up and be more cautious than ever before.. Had we been more alert, more known about the fact of what our surrounding places and people are upto.. we would have saved our..dear city.

I know that most of us.... want to be an active participant for being more responsible as a citizen and take steps to control the hazardous situation prevailing in our surroundings. I know that most of us are worried that someone should do something to stop all wrong things happening around.... Cant we ourselves be the one to take the first step ..??? Cant we start the same at a very individual level?? Cant we make our own groups in our areas to be more helpful to the system and the society??? We have been taking pledge since our school and singing National Anthem ... everyday-- in Assembly halls..!!! Is it for the sake of it..?? Or should we now do something to help our country..indirectly..Help Ourselves..!!

Incredible India ---“Atithi devo bhava”.. says..Aamir Khan... Are we that insensitive ... that we need Celebrities to tell us how to behave.. !! Cant we be real life Aamir’s and help the guests who are being misbehaved with.. Cant we make the “IN - CREDIBLE” India as the “INCREDIBLE ONE” ???

Candle processions.. peace processions.. pro peace societies etc are the biggest gifts to city who had never seen such a horrific attack. Why are the innocents being punished for some Tom Dick n Harry..sitting in some country..and playing tricks for their personal benefits ...?? Cant we make up our mind and help our city in our own way...

NGO’s..like Janwaani, Jaago Re, Mrityunjay... Blue Cross Society for animals, Help India, Pune Tekdi etc and various other portals help connect different people to contact directly with the city officials. Cant we as youngsters create a portal where we can put in our views so that they directly reach the City Incharge???

Friends... me and few of my friends are in a process of starting a new portal where people like you and me can express our thoughts and suggestions openly for the city... We can also follow the Tweet Pune .. account which is a very good initiative by Pune Mirror. People interested in helping our to start such a portal...Kindly post back...

We are hoping to provide help lines in each area...of the city.. for any kind of suspicious and mischievous acts going on ..in that area.. Hope you all will support it..

Being more cautious.. and helping the cops.. is our prime duty.. Also to mention.. apart from all the above things.. It is our duty to now act as a responsible citizen.. Simple things like...

Spreading awareness in nearby schools and colleges

Blood Donations

Following Traffic Rules

Creating Employment

Helping Foreign Students (Dr. Mujumdar is the one who founded Symbiosis in the same manner)

Wearing Helmets

Planting Trees

Helping the Old Aged

Maintaining Cleanliness by not Loitering Around

Can we expect you n me to follow these few simple rules to at least try and make a beautiful city Grow Back to its Glory and Image.....

  6. Please don't be so hypothetical........
As per as Mr. Mujumdar is concern he is not doing any social work. Symbiosis is printing machine ya money printing, and what u say NGO have u gone through their balance sheets? please don't promote such people.

Why we say wake up after any wrong incident?
Now we don't want anymore planning we need execution, implementation of those plans.
    so why to wake up............
rather i would say "Now please Don't Sleep"

  7. Dear all, first of all... thanku for actively.. showing concern and supporting me for the initiative..

Also... I agree.. ashu.. that twas the cops who were ordered to take care of multiplexes n encash their piece of cake.. however if we look bak at the time concernd.. then it was definitely the need of hour... where in people n multiplexes were also a matter of concern(MNS afterall reflects the youth again)....If anythin would have went wrong on that frontier... we would have been the first ones to blame the cops again... Frankly... To an extent... they were doin what their duty was... But Govt. officials..are really out o their nerves..so as to contribute wholly to only one issue...and remain ignorant on the other....

  8. Dear Pankaj... I appreciate the way you have really analysed the other part of the situation as a whole...
NGO's(not particularly promoting any) which i referd to... are the public bodies...where people like u n me... can start with baby steps... Youngsters have so much in their minds.. but have no channelized thoughts...so ..i believe..that such NGO's would rather act as a platform to represent what we really want... which is just a way...to contribute to society...
And i would like to correct you ... on Dr. Mr. Mujumdar's role... If you check the details of how symbi really started... then it was only for the mutual benefit of the foreigners who came in India for further studies.. particularly.. "the Negroids... ".. yes.. Currently.. Symbi definitely is a money sucking institute... But again... Symbi is not the only institute which indulges into undertable activities... Look around.. and u can name every college under Pune University doing the same...
But... yes.. Simultaneously it is very important to indulge into real life activities and provoke the right energy to help others...
